Add 15 to make it average 9
As average= addition of nos/total no
As avg of 6 numbers is 8
So —> 48/6= 8 addition on numbers =48
Now if we add one more no then we ll have to divide it by 7
And 7x9=63
63-48=15
So we have to add 15 to make it average of 9
Or we can add 6 to the total 48 and divide by 6 to make it average of 9
48+6=54 ; 54/6= 9
