If the back of your hand is moistened with alcohol,you will find that it rapidly becomes dry.why is it that while it is drying your hand feels cool?

it's happens because the alcohol has a tenancy to evaporate fastly . so when it evaporate it also take away the heat present in hand so it's makes us to feel cool

That is, alcohol changes rapidly from liquid to gaseous state when it comes in contact with its surroundings.

Hence, when back of your hand is moistened with alcohol then it actually absorbs heat from your hand, that is, endothermic reaction takes place and our hand feels cool.
