Given :

  • Base and Height of a parallelogram are in the ratio 7:3 .
  • Height of Parallelogram is 45 cm .

To Find :

  • Area of Parallelogram .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Let\:the\:Base\:be=7x}

\longmapsto\tt{Let\:the\:Height\:be=3x}

As Given that Height of Parallelogram is 45 cm . So ,

\longmapsto\tt{3x=45}

\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{45}{3}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{x=15}

Value of x is 15 ..

Therefore :

\longmapsto\tt{Base\:of\:Parallelogram=7(15)}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{105\:cm}

Now ,

For Area :

\longmapsto\tt{Base=105\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Height=45\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Parallelogram=b\times{h}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{105\times{45}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{4725\:{cm}^{2}}

So , The Area of Parallelogram is 4725 cm² ..
