Answer :-

Given :-

  • Base of parallelogram = 5 cm
  • Height of parallelogram = 6 cm

To Find :-

  • Area of parallelogram

Solution :-

We know that,

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Here, we are given both base and height. So, by simply substituting the value, we can find area of parallelogram.

Area = 5 × 6

Area = 30

Area of parallelogram = 30 cm²

Given :

  • Base of parallelogram is 5 cm
  • Height of parallelogram is 6 cm

To Find :

  • Area of parallelogram ?

Formula used :

\sf{:\implies Area_{(parallelogram)} = b \times h }

Here,

⠀⠀⠀⠀B is the Base of parallelogram, H is the Height of parallelogram and A is the Area of parallelogram, And here in this question we have B = 5 cm & H = 6 cm.

By using the required formula and substituting all the given values in the formula, we get :

\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}\sf{:\implies \mathcal{A}rea_{(parallelogram)} = (b \times h)} \\ \\ \\ \sf{:\implies \mathcal{A}rea_{(parallelogram)} =  {5cm} \times 6cm } \\ \\ \\ \sf{ : \implies \mathcal{A}rea_{(parallelogram)} = 30 \: cm²}\end{gathered}\end{gathered}

\sf \therefore{ \pink{ \underline{The \:Area \:  of  \: parallelogram \:  is  \: 30  \: cm².}}}
