If the base and the altitude of a triangle is doubled .What will happen to its area

Area of triangle = ( Base × height ) / 2

If base and altitude are doubled,

Now, Area of triangle =( 2 base × 2 height ) / 2

AREA = 4 ( b × h) / 2 = 2 b * h

Hence, Area gets double.
