let the base angle be b.

then,

other angle = b-30°

ATQ,

b+b+(b-30°)=180°. [ sum of all int. angles of a triangle is 180°]

=>2b+b-30=180

=>3b=180+30

=>3b=210

=>b=70°

therefore,

base angle=70°

other angle=70°-30°=40°
