Q. If the base of a right angle triangle is 8cm and hypotenuse is 17 cm. Find it's area.

Ans:- After referring to the above Attachment you can see that Hypotenuse AC= 17 cm, and the base of the right angled triangle ABC is 8cm. So to find the area we've to apply the pythagoras theorum which is,

 h ^{2}  = \sqrt{p^{2} + b ^{2}  }

where, h= hypotenuse (17cm)

p= perpendicular (x)

b= base (8cm)
