Given :-
The base of a right angled triangle = 6 units
and it's hypotenuse = 10 units
=> (Base)² + (height)² = (hypotenuse)²
=> (6)² + (height)² = (10)²
=> 36 + (height)² = 100
=> (height)² = 100 - 36
=> (height)² = 64
=> height = √64
=> height = 8
We know that,
area of triangle = 1/2×base×height unit²
area if the triangle = 1/2×6×8 unit²
area of the triangle = 24 unit²
Therefore
the area of the right angles triangle = 24 unit²
