If the base of a right angled triangle is 6 units and the hypotenuse is 10 units. Find its area

here is your answer
in a right angled triangle;
(hypo)^2 = ( base)^2 + ( height) ^2
as by pythagoras theorem
 {10}^{2}  =  {6}^{2}  +  {(base)}^{2}  \\ 100 = 36 +  {(base)}^{2}  \\  \sqrt{64}  =  {(base)}^{2}  \\ 8 = base
so, area ⬇
area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 6 \times8 \\  = 24 {unit}^{2}
