area of a triangle = 1/2 * base * height
so here we have bas = x+3
and height = x+1
so putting them in the formula we have,
1/2 * x+3 *x+1
1/2 (x²+4x+3) unit square
so here we have bas = x+3
and height = x+1
so putting them in the formula we have,
1/2 * x+3 *x+1
1/2 (x²+4x+3) unit square

Hello users..
We know that
Area of triangle = 1/2× base × height
Here,
Base =(x+3) units
& Height= (x+1) units
So here's the
Area = 1/2× (x+3) × (x+1)
= 1/2× { x(x+1) +3(x+1) }
= 1/2× ( x² +x + 3x +3)
= 1/2 × ( x² +4x +3) answer
