SOLUTION

GIVEN

The base of the right angle triangle is 6 times the reciprocal of its height

TO DETERMINE

The area of the right angle triangle

EVALUATION

Let base of the right angle triangle = b unit and height of the right angle triangle = h unit

Now it is given that the base of the right angle triangle is 6 times the reciprocal of its height

So by the given condition

 \displaystyle \sf{b = 6 \times  \frac{1}{h} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ \implies \: b  \times h= 6 }

Hence the required area of the right angle triangle

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  Base  \times Height }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  b  \times h \:  \:  \: sq.unit }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  6 \:  \:  \: sq.unit }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  3 \:  \:  \: sq.unit }
