 =  \frac{\pi \times ( {3x)}^{2} \times 4y }{\pi \times  ( {4x)}^{2}   \times 9y}

 =  \frac{9 {x}^{2}   \times 4y}{16 {x}^{2} \times 9y }

 =  \frac{1}{4}

= 1 : 4.

Answer :- The ratio of the volumes of two cylinders are 1 : 4.
