if the base radius of a right circular cylinder is halved keeping the height same find the ratio of volume of reduced cylinder that of original cylinder​

Answer:

Volume of original cylinder = pie*(r)^2*h

new r = r/2

new volume = pie*(r/2)^2*h

                    = pie*(r)^2*h/4

ratio of new volume to original volume = 1/4

                                                              = 1:4
