if the bases of an isosceles triangle is 12 cm and perimeter is 35 find the area of the triangle​

so a+b+c=35

base = 12

in this case bc is the base so

b=a

2a = 35-12

a = 23/2

a = b = 11.5 cm

2s= a+b+c

s=12+11.5+11.5/2

s=35/2

s= 17.5

use herons formula to find area

area =√[s (s – a)(s – b)(s – c)], i gave all the values to you

you should do this by applying those values in formula

answer is 58.86 cm^2
