if the bisector of an angle of a triangle also bisects the opposite side prove that the triangle is isosceles​ pls help me.​

Answer:

In triangle ABC , if a bisector of angle A bisects BC at D

BD=BC

hence they both are 90 degrees

they are equal

so, angle ADB= angle ADC

here, AB is the opposite side to angle ADB and BC is the opposite side to angle ADC

hence AB=AC(opposite sides to equal angles are equal)

if 2 sides are equal it is an isoseles triangle
