Let that triangle be ABC.

Bisector of angle A is AD.

Since BD=CD.

AD is the median of the triangle ABC.

Area of ABD= Area of ACD.

ABD is congruent to ACD.

AB=AC

Proved.

Hope this helps! Thankyou.
