If the breath is 3 times more than the length and the perimeter is 88 find the area

l=3b..........(1)

also, perimeter is 88 cm

2(l+b)=88

or,2(b+3b)=88 {l=3b from 1}

or,8b=88

now for length

l=3b

∴length=33cm
