Given,

Potential Difference (V) = 12 volt
Power (P) = 60 Watt

We know that,
P = V × I (current)
P/ V = I
60/12 = I
5 = I

So, current = 5 Ampere.

Notation :-

P = Power

V = Voltage

i = Current

Using formula :-

P = Vi

60 = 12 × i

60 ÷ 12 = i

5 A = i

Hence we get i = 5A
