Here we have,
u (Initial Speed) = 0 (Because it starts from rest)
Now,
a (Acceleration) = 10 m/s²
t (Time taken) = 10 sec.
Now,
Using 2nd Equation of motion :-
s = ut + 1/2at²
s = 0 × 10 + 1/2 × 10 × 10²
s = 1/2 × 10 × 100
s = 5 × 100
s = 500 m.
Therefore we get :-
Distance traveled = 500 m.
