cost price of 25 chairs = selling price of 30 chairs

C.P : S.P =6:5

THUS loss % = 1/6 × 100

=16.6%

SOLUTION

OPTION [b]✓

25*cp = 30*sp

25*cp = 30*sp Express the selling price in terms of cost price:

25*cp = 30*sp Express the selling price in terms of cost price: sp = (25/30)cp

=)Your loss percentage is the ratio of the difference in prices to cost price:

=)(cp - sp)/cp

=)(cp - (25/30)cp)/cp

=)cp(1 - (25/30))/cp

=)1 - (25/30)

=)16.7% loss

Hope it helps✌️
