Hi !!!

Here is your answer,

Given : -
Capacity of a cylindrical tank = 1848 m³
Diameter of the base = 14 m

radius = diameter÷2 = 14÷2 = 7m

Volume = 1848
➡πr²h = 1848
➡22/7×7×7×h = 1848
➡154×h = 1848
➡h = 1848÷154
➡h = 12

height = 12 m

Hope it helps.

Given :

Volume of the cylinder (V) = 1848 m³

Diameter of the base (D) = 14 m

To Find :

Depth of the tank

Solution :

Volume of the cylinder = πr²h

where, r = Radius; h = depth/height

As diameter = 14 m

Radius (r) = \frac{Diameter}{2}  = \frac{14}{2} = 7 cm

Volume of the cylinder = πr²h

⇒     1848                       = \frac{22}{7} × 7 ×7 × h

⇒     1848                       =  154h

⇒       h                           =  \frac{1848}{154}

∴        h                           =   12 m

Therefore, the depth of the tank is found to be 12 m.
