if the centre and radius of the circle is (3, 4 )and 7 units respectively, then what is the position of the point A,( 5,8) with respect to circle?.​

Let P be (5,8), C be the center and R be the radius.
Now,
CP=√(3-5)² + (4-8)²              [using distance formula]
     =√(-2)²+(-4)²
     =√4+16
     =√20
     =2√5
     =4.47
Since, CP < R. 
So, the point lies inside the circle!!
