If the centroid of the triangle formed by (9, a),(6,-4) and (7,8) is (6,8), then the
value a and b are??

but

you can solve this question by applying the formula

x= x1+x2+x3/2 and y = y1+y2+y3/2

where coordinates of centroid is x and y

and x1 ,y1

x2,y2

x3,y3

are coordinates of vertices
