Given :  (10 , 7 ) is the centroid of the triangle with  (3 , 2) and (5 , -11) as the two vertices

To find : the third vertex

Solution:

Centroid  (x , y  ) = ( ( x₁ + x₂ + x₃) /3 , (y₁ +  y₂ + y₃) /3    )

Centroid  (x , y  ) = (10 , 7)

A =  (3,2 )

B = (5, -11)

C = (Cx , Cy )

=> 10 = ( 3 + 5 + Cx)/ 3  => Cx  =  22

7 = ( 2  -11  + Cy)/3  => Cy  = 30

Hence  third vertex is  ( 22 , 30 )
