let gh be the acceleration due to gravity at height h.

gx be the acceleration due to gravity at depth x.

The acceleration due to gravity on the surface of earthis g= GM /R2

where R is the radius o earth ,M is mass of earth and G is gravitational constant.

g = 1/ r2

gh/g=R2/(R+h) 2

gh/g=(1-2gh/R)

2gh/R=gx/R

x=2h
