If the circular orbit of a synchronous satellite is 6r above the Earth's radius r, the radius of the Earth will be the orbit of another artificial satellite at 2.5r above the Earth's surface.

For geostationary satellite :        r1=R+6R=7R            T1=24 h

For second satellite :     r2=R+2.5R=3.5R            

Time period of satellite :       T=2πGMr3          where,  r is the radius of orbit

⟹    T1T2=r13r23

∴       24T2=(7R)3(3.5R)3=221

⟹   T2=2224=62 h
