circumferance=2*pi*r
area=pi*r^2
equating both we get
r^2=2r
So the radius will be 2
So diameter will be 4

I hope it help you

The radius will be 2 cm ,  therefore diameter will be 2r 2*2=4

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that ,

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

area of a circle                  = πr^2

In this question we have,

2 πr= πr^2

so cut the common parts in the equation which are the pi ,one of the radius .

now we have 2=r

so the diameter is twice the radius.
