Answer :-

  • The diameter of the circle is 7cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :-

  • The diameter of circle

Solution:

Given that,

  • The circumference of circle = 22cm

We know that,

\bigstar \: \boxed{\bf{Circumference \: of \: circle = 2 \: \pi \: r}}

The radius of circle :-

\bf{\longmapsto \: 2 \: \pi \: r = circumference} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: 2 \times \: \dfrac{22}{7} \times \: r = 22} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: \dfrac{2 \times 22}{7} \times \: r = 22} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: \dfrac{44}{7} \times \: r = 22} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: r = 22 \times \dfrac{7}{44}} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: r = \dfrac{22 \times 7}{44}} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: r = \dfrac{154}{44}} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: r = \cancel{\dfrac{154}{44}}} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \:  \orange{r = 3.5}}

Hence, The radius of circle is 3.5cm.

The diameter of circle :-

We know that,

\bigstar \: \boxed{\bf{Diameter \: of \: circle = 2 \times radius}}

Therefore,

\bf{\longmapsto \: 2 \times radius} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \: (2 \times 3.5)cm} \\  \\  \\  \\ \bf{\longmapsto \:  \boxed{ \bf{ \red{7cm}}}}

Hence, The diameter of circle is 7cm.

Given :-

  • Shape = Circle
  • Circumference of the Circle = 22cm

 \\

To Find :-

  • Diameter of the Circle

 \\

Solution :-

❏ For finding the Diameter of the Circle we need the Radius of the Circle, and Circumference of the Circle is given, So we will apply [ Circumference of Circle = 2πr ] to find the Radius of the Circle.

⟾⠀⠀Circumference of Circle = 2πr

⟾⠀⠀22 = 2 × 22/7 × Radius

⟾⠀⠀22 / 2 = 22/7 × Radius

⟾⠀⠀11 = 22/7 × Radius

⟾⠀⠀11 × 7 / 22 = Radius

⟾⠀⠀77 / 22 = Radius

⟾⠀⠀3.5cm = Radius

Now,

❍ Diameter = 2 × Radius

➞ Diameter = 2 × Radius

➞ Diameter = 2 × 3.5

➞ Diameter = 7cm

Thus, Diameter of the Circle = 7cm
