Given

The  circumference of a circle is 44 cm

To find

The area of the circle

solution

We can simply solve the mathematical question by using the basic mathematical equation

The method to find the area of the circle is as follows-

Let the length of the  radius of the  circle be "r" cm

the equation for the circumference of circle = 2πr

44=2*\frac{22}{7}*r -------  equation 1

r=\frac{44*7}{44}----------------- equation 2

from this, we obtain r=7cm

So now the area of the circle= \pi r^{2}

\frac{22}{7}*7*7 = 154cm^2

Hence the area of the circle with a circumference of 44cm is 154cm^2
