Circumference = 45 cm(Given)

pi× r×r = 45 cm

22/7 × r× r =45

r×r = 45× 7/22

=14.32 cm

 \huge  \bf{\underline{Question}}

If the circumference of a circle is 45cm. Find its radius.

 \huge\bf{ \underline{Answer}}

Given:

  • Circumference of a circle is 45cm.

To find:

  • Radius of a circle.

Formula required:

 \sf{ \fbox{circumference \: of \: circle=2πr}}

where,

 \small \fbox{r = radius \: of \: circle}

According to Question:

∵circumference of circle=2πr

 \small{∴45cm=2 \times  \frac{22}{7} \times r}

  \small{∴ \frac{45 \times 7}{2 \times 22} = r}

 \small \fbox{∴ r = 7.16}

Hence, radius of circle is approximately 7 cm.
