2πr=88
r=88×1/2×7/22
r=14cm

area=πr^2=22/7×14×14= 616m^2

Given -

Circumference of circle is 88 m

To find -

The area of circle

Solution -

As we know that,

Circumference of circle = 2 \times \pi \times r

Put the given values in these formula we get

88 = 2\pi \times r

 \frac{88}{2\pi}  = r

 \frac{44}{\pi}  = r

The value of π is 3.14 .

 \frac{44}{3.14}  = r

r = 14.01

So,

Radius (r) is 14.01 m.

Area of circle = \pi {r}^{2}

Put the value of r we get

Area of circle = \pi \times  {14.01}^{2}

Square means multiply the given values with itself twice.

Square of 14.01 is 196.28

Area of circle = \pi \times 196.28

The value of π is 3.14.

Area of circle = 3.14 \times 196.28

Area of circle = 616.31

Hence,

Area of circle is 616.31 {m}^{2}
