Let r the radius of the circle.

2πr = 5π

    r = \frac{5\pi}{2\pi}

    r = 2.5

∴ The radius of the circle is 2.5 cm.

  πr²

= π2.5²

= 6.25π

∴ The area of the circle is 6.25π.
