Circumference = 176 cm
circumference = 2 * 22/7 * R(radius we don't know so keeping R)
176(Circumference is given so we can substitute the value)
176 = 44R/7
R = (176*7)/44
R = 28metres

Now we got the radius so we can find the area by the formula
Area = 2 * 22/7 * 28 *28
Area = 4928m^2

Given:

if the circumference of a circular sheet is 176 M

To Find:

find its radius also find the area of the sheet taken by equal 22 upon 7

Solution:

A circle is a 2-dimensional figure in which the distance of all the points on the perimeter is the same as the centre of the circle.

The circumference of the circle is measured by using the formula,

C=2\pi r

The area of the circle is measured by using the formula,

A=\pi r^2

Now it is given that the circumference of the circle is 176m then we can find the measure of the radius by using the formula as stated above,

C=2\pi r\\176=2*\frac{22}{7}*r\\ r=28m

Now we have the measure of radius as 28m, now we can find the area of the circle by using the above-stated formula,

A=\pi r^2\\=\frac{22}{7}*28*28\\ =2464m^2

Hence, the radius of the circle is 28m and the area is 2464 sq.m.
