Given :

Circumference of the base of the right circular cone = 120π

Slant height of the right circular cone = 10 cm

To Find :

Curved surface area of the cone(CSA) = ?

Formula Used :

» Circumference = 2πr units

» Curved surface area (CSA) = πrL sq. units

Solution :

Circumference = 2πr = 120π

r =  \frac{120\pi}{2\pi}

r = 60 cm

Therefore the radius of the cone = 60 cm

Now we have to find the CSA of the cone ,

› Curved surface area (CSA) = πrL sq. units

» π * 60 * 10

» CSA = 600 π sq.cm

Some more formula related to right circular cone :

» TSA = πrl+πr^2 sq. units

» CSA = πrL sq. units

» Volume = 1/3πr^2 h cubic. units.
