Let the upper limit be x
We know that,
class mark = ( upper limit+ lower limit)/2
From the condition we get,
(x +15)/2 = 17.5
=> x +15 = 17.5 ×2
=> x = 35 -15 = 20
Hence upper limit is 20
Hope this helps.
