if the coefficient of kinetic friction between a 35kg
crate and the floor is 0.30, what horizontal
force is required to move the crate at a steady
speed across the floor? What horizontal force is
required if coefficient of kinetic friction is zero

Explanation:

The crate will move with constant speed when applied force is equals to kinetic frictional force

And here it is:

Coefficient of kinetic friction ×N= coefficient of kinetic friction ×mg= 0.3×35×9.8=102.9N

In absence of frictional force any force, will cause it's motion but in that case it will be moving with constant acceleration!!

HOPE IT HELPS!!
