Let the quadratic polynomial be
a x^2 + bx + c.
Let the zeros be m and n
Given: b=0
Now,
Sum of the zeros = (-b/a)
i.e m+n = 0 ( since b= 0)
===> either m = -n or n = -m
Therefore the zeros are opposite in sign.
