We know that ,
Where ,
- n = number of term
- a = first term
- d = common difference
Also,
Now , putting values in a₁₀ - a₅
We get,
a₁₀ - a₅ = [ a+9d ] - [ a+4d]
a₁₀ - a₅ = a + 9d - a - 4d
a₁₀ - a₅ = 5d
a₁₀ - a₅ = 5×(2)
a₁₀ - a₅ = 10
ANSWER = 10
