  2. With the help of protector make an angle if 70° at A.
  3. With the help of protector make an angle if 40° at B.
  4. Extend both lines of angles, they meet at a single point, mark that point C.
  5. Construction of ∆ABC has been done.
  6. To measure ∠C, put the protector on line AC or BC and measure it. Thus, ∠C= 70°.

Verification:

According to property of interior angles of triangles.

Sum of all interior angles are 180°.

Thus,

∠A+∠B +∠C= 180°

Put the values

70°+40°+∠C= 180°

or

∠C= 180°-110°

or

∠C= 70°
