Answer:

using midpoint formula, Coordinates of C = (5/2, 2)

x = \frac{2 + 3}{2}  =  \frac{5}{2}  \\ y =  \frac{ - 1 + 5}{2}   =  \frac{4}{2}  = 2

Answer:

Given: A(2,-1),B(3,5)

Let the C (x,y) be the mid - point of AB

X1 =2 , X2 = 3 , y1 = -1 , y2 = 5

Then,

X =X1 +X2

----------- ; = 2+3

2 ------ =5/2

2

Y= y1 +y2

--------- = (-1) +5= 4

2 --------- --- =2

2 2

x =5 y = 2

--- ;

2

therefore , C ( 5 2 ) are the coordinate of mid point AB. ----
