if the coordinates of a point are (x,y) and it lies in 4th quadrant, then x>0, y>0. Is it true? Justify.

Answer:

false. x will be greater than 0 because it is in the fourth quadrant but for y to be greater than 0 it will be in the first quadrant. so, in the fourth quadrant x>0 but y<0.
