if the coordinates of opposite vertices of a square are (1,3) and (6,0) the length of a side of a square is?

Lenght of opposite verteces = diagonal of square

=> √(1-6)² + (3-0)²= √(-5)² + (3)²= √35 units.

we know that.,
diagonal of square =√2 x side

=> √35=√2 x side => side = √35/√2=√70/2
units.

So length of side of square is √70/2.
