if the corresponding sides of two similar triangles are 3 and 4 the areas of larger triangle is 48 CM square find the area of smallest square​

hey mate here is the answer

AB square/DE square = area of ∆ABC / area of ∆ DEF

This is formula  Let area of smaller triangle is x

3 square /4 square = x / 48

9/16 = x/48

Cross multiplication

9*48 = 16x

Transposition

(9*48)/16 = x

(9*16*3)/16 = x  (Because 48 = 16*3)

16 cancels 16

9*3 = x

27 = x
