Given :  cost of 1000 bricks is rupee 3000

To Find :  cost of 1 bricks in rupees

Solution:

Assume that cost of 1 brick  in rupees  = x  Rs

Cost of n bricks  = n x  Rs

Cost of 1000 bricks  = 1000x  Rs

Cost of 1000 bricks = Rs 3000

Equate Cost of 1000 bricks

=> 1000x = 3000

Dividing both sides by 1000

=> x = 3

Hence cost of 1 brick is Rs 3
