Let the price of each table and chair be x rupees & y rupees respectively.

2x-3y = 120

I think the equation will be:
2x-3y=120
as the cost of 2 tables is more than 3 chairs by Rs.120.
So,cost of 3 chairs =3x and cost of 2 tables =2x
