let the cost of audio be x
and the cost of second hand video be y
 from the condition,
3x+2y=350             1

from 2nd condition,.
2x+3y=425                2

multiplying equation 1 by 3 and 2 by 2
9x+6y=1050          3
4x+6y=850             4

subtracting equation 3 & 4
9x+6y=1050
4x+6y=850
5x=200
x = 40

putting value of x in equation 1
3 x 40 + 2y=350
2y=350 - 120
2y=230
y= 230/2
y=115

the cost of one audio is 40 and for video is 115

DevangSaini: but why did you multiply equation 1 with 3 and equation 2 with 2??
Pranjal123: to equal the value of y in both equation
DevangSaini: so, can i do the same with x instead of y??
DevangSaini: But your answer is wrong.....
Pranjal123: ya of course bu you need to multiply equation 1 by 2 and 2 by 3
DevangSaini: your answer is wrong....
Pranjal123: sorry now it is correct
