Answer:

cost of two pens = Rs. 13

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Let the cost of 1 pen = Rs. x
  • Let the cost of 1 pencil = Rs. y

So, cost of 37 pen and 53 pencil= 320

37x + 53y = 320. - (I)

similarly,. 53x + 37y = 400. -(I)

On substituting the equations, we get

x = 13/2, y= 5/2

Now, cost of 2 pens = 2x cost of 1 pen

= Rs. 13

x=9360/1440

x=6.5

x Ka value equation 1 me put up Marne Pe

37x+53y=320

37*6.5+53y=320
