Given: Cost of 5 bars of soap = Rs. 30

To find: Cost of one dozen bars

Solution: According to the given question,

Cost of 5 bars of soap = Rs. 30

Using Unitary method:

Cost of 1 bar of soap = Cost of 5 bars/5

                                   = 30/5 = Rs. 6

One dozen bars = 12 bars of soap

Cost of 12 bars of soap = Cost of one bar x 12

                                      = 6 x 12 = Rs. 72

Hence, the cost of one dozen bars is Rs. 72
