mango drinks that can be purchased= 76/14= 5+4/14

so quotient is 5 i.e. we can buy 5 drink packages

and remainder is 4 so 4 rupees is left out

Concept:

Balance is the amount left after spending money on something from owned money.

Given:

We have,

Total money = 76 rupees

Cost of a pack of mango drinks = 14 rupees

Find:

We are asked to find the packs of the drink that can be purchased and the balance amount.

Solution:

So,

We have,

Total money = 76 rupees

Cost of a pack of mango drinks = 14 rupees

So,

To get the number of packs that can be purchased,

Divide the total money by the Cost of a pack of mango drinks,

i.e.

The number of packs = 76 / 14 = 5 (6/14)

So,

From here we see that,

We can buy 5 packs of mango drinks i.e. for 70 rupees,

So,

The balance amount = 76 - 70 = 6

Hence, 5 packs of the drink can be purchased, and the balance amount is 6 rupees.
