cost of carpeting room= area× cost for per sq m
600 = area× 10
area=600÷10
=60sq m

The breadth of room is 6 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Area carpeted for Rs.10 = 1 sq.m.

Area carpeted for Rs.600 = \frac{600}{10}=60 sq.m.

Length of room = 10 m

Area of room =Length \times Breadth

Area of room = 10 \times Breadth

So, 10 \times Breadth =60

Breadth = 6

Hence The breadth of room is 6 m
